Denny Hayes

Died August 12, 2006 – McClure firefighter, died shortly after 7 am, as he operated McClure’s pumper truck at the scene of a devastating house fire in nearby Decatur Township, Mifflin County.  He died of cardiac arrest.

Mr. Hayes was known as being a guy with a big heart, one who loved to laugh, and someone whose presence will be missed.
